It’s not every day you see a life-sized whale hanging from a ceiling. But when the Smithsonian Museum wanted to “wow” visitors with a full-scale model of an endangered Northern Atlantic Right Whale, they called on Garage Graphics & Visuals. GGV created an exact replica of the whale—right down to the very last hair and scar. Each piece was light enough to be suspended from the ceiling, and small enough to fit through museum doors. Today, “Phoenix” hangs above the museum floor and helps draw in thousands of astonished visitors each year.
